i’m camilla, the one-woman-band behind cuatro ceramics: maker, packer, shipper, web designer, accountant (ugh), and coffee drinker extraordinaire.​ made in brazil, based in regensburg, germany.

i’m a feminist, anti-capitalist, immigrant woman who believes that imperfection is beautiful, handmade is magic, and joy can absolutely live in a coffee mug. i come from a tech background, but somewhere between the deadlines and the digital noise, i found clay — and with it, i found silence.​

this is not a brand. it’s not a startup. it’s not even a “small business” in the pinterest-aesthetic sense. it’s just me, doing what i love, and occasionally managing to put it in a box and send it your way. i don’t have a business plan. i don’t “scale.” i don’t launch seasonal collections. i make what i feel like making, when i feel like making it, and every piece that leaves my hands carries a little bit of me with it (in a cute, non-creepy way). what i do have is a deep love for the messy, the wobbly, the not-quite-perfect.

everything is handmade here. and i mean everything. the ceramics, the packaging, the website you’re looking at, the tiny thank-you notes — all done by me, sometimes with clay under my nails and a dog trying to sit on my keyboard. it’s chaotic, but it’s personal.
